INITIAL ASSESSMENTS - This session involves a comprehensive specialist assessment, full explanation of the physiotherapists professional opinion on diagnosis and recommended rehabilitation pathway, a written report and the start of appropriate treatment.
REVIEW PHYSIOTHERAPY APPOINTMENTS - Following the initial assessment you experience 'hands on' manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation approach.
We do recommend an extended consultation for managing multiple injuries/regions (e.g. back and lower limb, shoulder and knee), complex injuries and/or troublesome recurrent problems such as low back pain. The session may involve assessment comprehensive hands on treatment and individualised exercise rehabilitation as appropriate.
ACUPUNCTURE - Excellent way to manage pain and inflammation. Changes the way your body senses pain and helps the body heal muscle spasm associated with trigger points. Also used alongside other treatments.
MASSAGE - Sports and therapeutic soft tissue manipulation targets the muscles, connective tissues and nerves. Perfect for pre and post event, a general loosen up, maintenance and/or as an adjunct to your physiotherapy programme.
EXERCISE REHABILITATION - Structured progressive individualised strength and conditioning program design to meet your functional sport, work and lifestyle requirements. Aiming to be better, fitter, stronger than your toughest day to prevent problems in the future!
WOMENS HEALTH / PELVIC HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY -
Women’s health physiotherapy is a highly effective form of treatment for pelvic issues, helping reduce pelvic pain and restore the proper function of your pelvic floor. Women’s health physiotherapy treats many pelvic issues, including incontinence, pelvic pain, vaginal pain, pelvic organ prolapses and more. Pelvic floor physiotherapy also helps manage pregnancy-related issues and postpartum recovery, as well as recovery for women after undergoing certain procedures (pelvic floor repair surgery, myomectomy, or hysterectomy).
