Jake Wilson, Physiotherapist
I am Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Teesside University, graduating in 2019. I have worked within the NHS for over seven years, developing extensive expertise in assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Throughout my career, I have worked across several specialist services, including fracture clinics, post-operative rehabilitation following elective and traumatic orthopaedic surgery, and upper limb, hand and wrist rehabilitation. I currently work as a Specialist Physiotherapist within a Chronic Pain service, supporting individuals with complex and persistent spinal pain to regain confidence, function and quality of life.
Health, movement and performance have always been central to my life. Having competed in a variety of sports from a young age, particularly within gymnastics disciplines, I have developed a strong understanding of the demands of physical activity and what it means to be truly "fit for function". Most notably, I competed at the USASF World Championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
My sporting background has shaped my approach to physiotherapy. I believe rehabilitation should be tailored to the individual, with a clear focus on meaningful goals and long-term outcomes. Whether your aim is returning to sport, managing pain, recovering from injury or maintaining independence, I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals through evidence-based assessment, education, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
